Shele Lillis

LPC-S, CFRC

As a counselor, Shele is motivated by her desire to support clients through personal reflection and insight to empower clients as they walk through their life journey. She is passionate about creating a strong therapeutic connection with clients to support one of the most important components of therapy, the therapeutic alliance.

Shele is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor with 15+ years of experience. She is skilled in working with individuals, couples, young adults, veterans, and the first responder community. Shele has worked in all treatment levels, from inpatient to outpatient, and currently enjoys private practice. She enjoys all areas of mental health and specializes in treating PTSD/trauma recovery, resiliency training, couples counseling, and eating disorder treatment and maintenance.

Shele utilizes research-based, therapeutic approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, among other techniques, to help facilitate change and growth. It is Shele’s belief there is no single approach that meets the needs of all clients, therefore integrates multiple approach techniques to support her client’s needs.

Shele’s faith has been an important part of shaping who she is as a person and in learning to balance faith with trust and willingness to adapt to life as it changes. She is more than comfortable incorporating one’s faith, spirituality, higher power, or other belief systems into their therapeutic journey. The component of faith/spirituality can be extremely effective and helpful to a client’s therapeutic journey. She can work with clients to incorporate spirituality however the client wants it to look when they are ready. Using faith/spirituality is always at the client’s pace, by their invitation only, and is never pushed on them.

Shele is a native Texan, but proud to say that she has lived worldwide in support of her veteran husband. She has been blessed with 3 incredible daughters who amaze her daily. She enjoys quality time with family, taking thoughtful drives, family and friend game nights, and of course watching ALL Fast and Furious movies.

Rachel Beckham

LPC-Associate

I specialize in assisting teen, young adult, and adult individuals working through past or present traumatic experiences by providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also utilize person-centered therapy, helping clients understand and discover themselves. This type of therapy is most useful for individuals seeking assistance with anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other mood disorders. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore any feelings, heal from past wounds, and develop the skills necessary to lead a fulfilling and balanced life. Living with symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, or other various mood disorders can be overwhelming. By using CBT, DBT, and person-centered therapy approaches, my hope is to help you understand root causes and develop management strategies that will pave the way for utilization of healthy coping skills.
